Benny Blanco and Lil Dicky both built successful careers by blending creativity with a strong sense of individuality, but they took very different routes to the spotlight. Benny Blanco became one of pop music’s most accomplished behind-the-scenes songwriters and producers before launching his own artist career. Lil Dicky, meanwhile, turned comedy, rap and viral internet culture into a distinctive entertainment brand that later expanded into television. Both were born in 1988, yet their careers, public identities and paths to success are remarkably different.
